In our small classes, the vast majority of pupils’ needs are able to be met through High Quality Teaching which is adapted and personalised in order to fully support pupils’ learning needs.
Some children need educational provision that is in addition to, or different from, this. These children will receive support with their learning which may take a variety of forms, such as small intervention groups and sometimes individual tuition. Our Learning Support Room provides a calm, quiet space for individual or small group tuition away from the classroom when needed.
At St Olave’s we have access to a wide range of additional support, including a Speech and Language Therapist, an Educational Psychologist and services from Royal Borough of Greenwich such as ASD Outreach and Greenwich STEPS. In addition we are happy to work with privately appointed professionals such as Occupational Therapists or psychologists in order to meet the needs of your child.
